Marilyn Kohn Real Estate Team named Top Team for 2007 Peoria Area in Closed Transactions

The Marilyn Kohn Team achieved #1 Team status for 2007 according to the Peoria Area Association of Realtors.  Marilyn and her team closed more sales than any other real estate team in the area for 2007.  In a year when many realtors sales were down because of the difficult market, Marilyn’s Team had it’s best year ever!  Marilyn attributes this success to a solid client base, great referrals, excellent systems, a caring and experienced team that gives their clients the attention and care they deserve.

While the Peoria market was down slightly (about 5% from 2006), the overall market is solid and continues to be strong into the first months of 2008.  Marilyn and her team work in Peoria, Woodford, and Tazewell counties.  Special areas of concentration for the team are residential homes, luxury homes, new construction and relocation with both buyers and sellers.  Prime markets include, Peoria, Dunlap, Germantown Hills/Metamora, Washington, East Peoria, Morton and Pekin.   

Marilyn and her team also work with relocation groups such as Sirva Relocation and Paragon Relocation Services for Caterpillar, Inc. and other various national and local corporations and businesses. The team also works with the large expanding medical community associated with St. Francis Medical Center, Methodist Medical Center and Proctor Hospital.
